Open an Amazon Associate Program account.

Download free Accociate-O-Matic software: Very simple to setup and will create a website with all the links to Amazon you need.

You will need a hosting account (not to be confused with an ISP like BT or TalkTalk) Your hosting service is where you put (upload) your website to so the world and his wife can see it. I have tried a number of hosting services both UK based and in other parts of the world. I would strongly recommend you stick to the UK based companies. I have used a number and for several year there has been one that has offered fantastic service and performance, HeartInternet (HeartInternet UK reseller hosting) . I went for the reseller account which gives you a completely unlimited service so you can have as many websites as you want and you can become a hosting business in it's own right at the same time selling hosting accounts and domain names under your own name, and their domain names are very cheap, a .co.uk domain name will cost you £5.58 plus VAT for 2 years (then renew), less if you by a block of 10 or more.

There is one other hosting company I would recommend and have used in the past and that's EUKHost ,cheaper than Heartinternet but for technical reasons the performance is not as good, but they should not be overlooked if you are on a tight budget. Please don't go near a company called HostPaPa, the internet is littered with complaints about them and I have had personal experience of them - Don't go there!

Well that's it, for less than £100 you can set yourself up in business knowing that with a little patience it will work and generate a good income, and if like me it gets a little out of control and becomes an obsession, then you will see allot of money coming in. When I realised the potential in the vast supplies and variety of goods available through Amazon I started putting to getter more and more websites, now totalling 150. I sell everything from gardening tools and plants to musical instruments and Hi-Fi home cinema equipment. Allot of these website are still relatively new or very new; looking at the rate of growth for my business I can see myself going from £2000 a week a present to around £3500 a week within 12 months, and at the grand age of 53 I would not have a hope in hell of earning that sort of money working for someone else and why would I want to. There is one benefit I have not mentioned, I can go on holiday for two weeks without worrying about the business, apart from a few minor updates when I get back it runs its self, if I wanted to I can take a netbook computer with me and logon anywhere around the world to see how thing are going and make any adjustments – no need to be at home – Freedom!
